Miss Theresa & Miss Rhonda were absolutely lovely! I was immediately greeted warmly as I entered the door, given expert advice and quickly found a wig that makes me feel like a literal million bucks. The ladies here are so thoughtful … More and kind, you can’t go wrong spending your hard earned $$$ here. 🥰🥰🥰 Miss Mandy obviously pours her heart soul blood sweat tears and most importantly her LOVE into this store, as does her employees. Every customer I saw during my time was smiling, which is something you rarely see anymore.
I will absolutely be back the second my wallet allows, and I’m bringing people too. I have never felt more at home immediately, and I’m so grateful for these lovely women who helped me feel my best when I came in feeling my worst.

I have been a loyal customer at Mandy’s for almost 2 years now. I’ve formed relationships with the staff, and owner. I was highly disappointed in my recent experience at the 41st location. I rarely frequent that location “Because” my mother … More experienced non friendly and rude behavior from that location. We fell in love with the 3rd Utica location. That particular day it was closer for me to stop by. My mom was right, I wasn’t fully greeted , and it felt stuffy and the staff was rude. Again I spend money and Im happy too bc I love Mandy and supporting my community. I told my mother about how I felt and she said “I told you they are rude at that location “ “I don’t know why you went there” I now stick with the 3rd Utica location only. The Utica store feels like family and a sister hood and I am grateful. Thank you to the 3rd and Utica location for showing me and my mother love always. I hope the 41st location changes and lives up to the standards of the Utica location; which is “friendly, great customer service, and thoughtfulness”.

This is the first time I have walked into a black hair store that is a black owned business. It’s comforting and easier to have someone that understands the struggle of different types of black hair due to personal experience and professional experience. Everyone that works there is super helpful and extremely kind. I 100 percent recommend this store and won’t be going anywhere else. A lot of selections on jewelry, hair products and wigs! Nyx makeup and minimumal to average selection on makeup brands. The place is clean neat and organized. The product I bought below total $6. A great variety and styles of the lashes and lash glues! As I said they’re reasonable prices for that. Will come back in the future for more lashes ,eye contacts and hair products.
